Terms of Service
Effective July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of TrashStache's website and residential trash and recycling bin cleaning service. By booking a cleaning or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Our service
TrashStache pressure-washes residential trash and recycling bins on a recurring (monthly or quarterly) or one-time basis, currently within Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, and the surrounding New River Valley. We reserve the right to decline service outside our confirmed service area, or to update the service area over time.
Booking and scheduling
- You choose a preferred cleaning day and time window; we schedule around your municipality's trash pickup calendar and will confirm or adjust your exact date as needed.
- Your bins must be accessible at the curb or your regular pickup location at the scheduled time. If we can't access your bins, we'll do our best to notify you and reschedule, but repeated missed access may result in a skipped cleaning still being billed for that cycle.
- Severe weather or unsafe conditions may push a cleaning to the next available day. We'll text you if this happens.
Pricing and billing
- You'll always see the exact price — including any extras you select — before completing checkout.
- Monthly plans are billed every month; quarterly plans are billed every three months at a 10% discount versus the monthly rate. One-time cleanings are billed once, at a 20% premium over the recurring per-cleaning rate, and carry no ongoing subscription.
- We'll give you advance notice by email before any price change takes effect on your existing subscription.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
Cancellation and refunds
- You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your customer dashboard.
- Cancelling stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund cleanings already completed or already billed for the current period.
- If we're unable to complete a scheduled cleaning due to an error on our part, we'll reschedule it at no additional charge or credit your account.
Your responsibilities
- Provide an accurate service address and keep your contact information up to date.
- Ensure pets are secured away from bins during your scheduled cleaning window.
- Let us know about any pre-existing damage, cracks, or fragile condition of your bins before service — we clean bins as they are and aren't responsible for damage from normal wear that predates our service.
Communications consent
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related SMS messages (confirmations, reminders, billing issues) from TrashStache. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time; see our Privacy Policy for details.
Referral program
Referral rewards (shown in your customer dashboard) are credited once a referred customer completes their first paid cleaning. We may modify or end the referral program at any time; rewards already credited are unaffected.
Limitation of liability
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrashStache's liability for any claim related to our service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific cleaning giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as TrashStache grows. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and continued use of our service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
